The South African National Roads Agency Limited (SANRAL) were tasked with converting the Johannesburg orbital road – South Africa’s equivalent of the M25 – into a tolled smart highway. They therefore required a comprehensive communication programme explaining how this would work to approximately 10 million people who utilise this piece of national infrastructure daily.

Chief among the programme deliverables was the launch infomercial for national television. Being the introductory overview this informercial focused on the key points of the project ,and was the first of a series of infomercials explaining each aspect of the project in greater detail.

The tone of the script and visual treatment are intended to have broad audience appeal without appearing authoritarian or prescriptive.
